Degrees of acne, pimples and zits severity

Acne can be divided into different degrees according to the severity of the pimples, zits or blackheads:

Mild Acne: The main pimples and lesions are not inflammatory.

Papules and Pustules can appear but generally there are no more than 10 at a time.

Moderate Acne: There are more papules and pustules, between 10 and 40, some of them can be in other parts of the body not only the face

Moderately severe acne: There are numerous papules and pustules, between 40 and 100, normally with deep nodule lesions, the skin arreas affected extend to the body and back.
Severe acne: This can also be called nodule chystic acne, and acne conglobata, it is characterized by many severe and deep lesions which are painful en encapsuled, along with many smaller pustules and lesions
